These are a list of frequently asked questions...well, at least asked questions...someone wanted to ask them...ok, it might have crossed his mind once, but put them here because it is a good way of delivering to you information I feel important or relevant.

Who are you?

I prefer to keep my name unanimous, but you can call me Zorro, your savior.

Why Zorro?

I just like names that start with the letter "Z".(hint, hint)

Why did you start (The Report/Essay Database) Other People's Papers?

I did it to help mankind. No, seriously, I got the 1st 150 reports from some zip file that was circulating thru AOL, I had lots of upload space from IDT, and limited ideas. At first I thought, "I can just convert these files so everybody can easily read them, and then I'll let it run its course."

Why did you decide to keep adding newly submitted files?

At first, I just wanted to let people steal whatever they needed. But I soon realized that I would have to advertise if anyone would come. Then I realized that not that many people needed three reports on Trudeau (some Canadian Guy). Once I had people coming, I might as well offer them what they needed.

How did you get all those new reports?

You gave them to me. Maybe not you reading this, (but YOU should send me something too!) but all those people who have looked at my page and are either kind at heart, or realize that if Bob Smith is going to get a report he needs (not on Trudeau), then they will have to submit a report of theirs to the database. Believe it or not, but teachers around the world really do conspire and assign similar reports to all students to be submitted.

Why should I submit my reports?

Would I receive any compensation for submitting my reports?

Not from me. It is up to you if you want to leave your name on the paper. You may even put your e-mail address on it, and ask anyone who uses it to send you a message. I'm sure that's the least anyone will do for you for saving them at least 20 minutes out of their own time ("School starts in 25 minutes. I've got a paper to do!!")

What kind of quality are these reports?

I'll start off by saying that I meant it when I said "These reports are to be used as a reference guide only." You have to be really desperate or really stupid to just change the name on top and hand it in (I hope you do that much!) Personally, I would take a paper or two, read them, and put a synthesis plus my comments in my words on my report. No two assignments are identical, so if Mrs. G asks for symbolism in Macbeth, and I give her a report on Macbeth's downfall, she'll know something's fishy. Also, these reports are mostly common reports. If you need a college report on the varying rhyme schemes in Dr. Seuss books, don't hand in a 1st graders summary of The Cat in The Hat. Finally, I have to say "beggers can't be chosers." Many reports are of very high quality, but chances are, if you are desperate enough to copy a report directly from here, you're just trying to avoid getting an F on the assignment you've been pushing off for 2 months now.

Why did you change the name for this site?

"The Report/Essay Database" explained what the site was about, and it was okay when we had a minor site, but now that we're moving on up, we need a more catchy name that you could tell your friends about.

OK already. Where do I send my reports?

I'm glad you asked. All you have to do is send me an e-mail to zorro3@idt.net, and attach the reports to the e-mail, as well as tell me what the reports are about if it isn't obvious.

I'm having some trouble. Could you help me out some more?

there are three ways to send reports:
1)attach-in your e-mail program, you have the option to attach a file into (onto) the e-mail. Select the file(s), write me a little note, and send the mail
2)embed-copy the file onto your clipboard(Windows) from the text file editor, and paste it directly into the e-mail message. Then send the e-mail (Step 2 is preferable if the file is in some format other than .txt[ even .wri, and .doc are acceptable])
3)Use the new Quik send option on the home page to browse for the file and send it to me quickly and effectively.
